To show our commitment to you, we have strove hard to be accredited by a recognized body. In fact, we are the FIRST car boutique in the industry to complete the distinguished CaseTrust-SVTA accreditation.

WHO GOVERNS THE CASETRUST-SVTA ACCREDITATION?

The CaseTrust-SVTA accreditation is a collaborative effort between various organizations in Singapore such as

• Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE)
• Singapore Vehicle Traders Association (SVTA)
• Economic Development Board (EDB)
• SPRING Singapore
• Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA)

WHAT IS THE GOAL OF CASETRUST-SVTA?

The goal of the CaseTrust-SVTA accreditation is to help identify businesses that can be trusted and relied upon by consumers, as well as to propel CaseTrust-SVTA certified businesses to a level of excellence that will be internationally recognized.

To ensure that you will have the most pleasant car buying experience, our commitment to following CaseTrust-SVTA’s policies and guidelines, is our commitment to you as well.

CaseTrust-SVTA Policies

QUALITY POLICY

At Cars & Stars, we strive to achieve the objective of Total Customer Satisfaction focusing on the vision of “Quality Service Is Our First Priority”, and commitment to continually improve the effectiveness of our Quality Management System.

QUALITY OBJECTIVES

• To achieve not more than 3 customer complaints per month.
• To achieve a 90% on-time delivery rate for total annual car sales.

CASETRUST-SVTA STANDARD CONTRACTS

Customers will sign the CaseTrust-SVTA Standard Contracts, which presents clearly the policies and terms and conditions of sale.

The CaseTrust-SVTA Standard Contracts comprises of the following :

1. Agreement for Sale of New Vehicles
2. Agreement for Sale of Used Vehicles
3. Certificate of Entitlement (COE) Bidding Agreement
4. Application for Hire Purchase Financing

PRESENTING OF CRITICAL INFORMATION

Cars & Stars will ensure critical information are not left blank at the time of a customer’s signing of the Application for Hire Purchase Financing.

The critical information are

• Interest Rate
• Hiring Period
• Total Amount of Financing

CUSTOMER COPY OF STANDARD CONTRACTS

The customer will be given a copy of the signed CaseTrust-SVTA Standard Contracts, which comprises of the following

1. Agreement for Sale of New Vehicles
2. Agreement for Sale of Used Vehicles
3. Certificate of Entitlement (COE) Bidding Agreement
4. Application for Hire Purchase FInancing

ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY

Customers will be able to cancel their order within 60 days if Cars & Stars are not able to fulfill the original requirements as stated in the sales order. (Terms and conditions apply.)

REFUND POLICY

Customers will be able to get their refund within 14 days if Cars & Stars are not able to fulfill the original requirements as stated in the sales order. (Terms and conditions apply.)

AMENDMENT POLICY

Customers will be able to amend orders within 3 days from vehicle inspection date. (Terms and conditions apply, subjected to management approval.)

REFUND OF DEPOSITS POLICY

Customers will be able to receive full refunds of their deposits based on either of
the following conditions :

• If the loan differs from the agreed terms.
• If the loan is not approved.
• If the sales order is unable to be fulfilled to a reasonable degree.

INFORMATION ON COE BIDDING

Customers, upon signing of the contract, will be updated on when the latest COE bidding will be done, depending on the original COE bidding package as reflected in the sales order.

ACCURACY OF MODEL AND COLOUR OF VEHICLE

Cars & Stars will ensure that the model and colour of the vehicle delivered to customers are according to the original customer’s request stated under the Vehicle Details column on the sales order.

VEHICLE DELIVERY TIME FRAME

Cars & Stars will ensure that vehicles will be delivered to customers within the time frame as follows :

1. New Car : No later than 90 days from date of successful COE Bidding.
2. Used Car : No later than 30 days from signing of Sales Contract.

COMPENSATION POLICY

Cars & Stars will provide courtesy cars for customers at no cost until the day of delivery of the requested vehicle stated in the sales order should the vehicle be not available by the initial delivery deadline stated in the sales contract.

METHODS AND CHANNELS OF PAYMENT

Cars & Stars offers our customers the following methods and channels of making payment :

• Cash
• Cheque
• Credit
• Cashier’s Order

All transactions are conducted in Singapore Dollars.

PRICE LISTS EXPLANATION

Cars & Stars will ensure all sales personnel provide explanations to customers on our price lists which consists of different prices and packages in conjunction with financing and insurance arrangements between our company and customer.

PRICE CHARGING

Cars & Stars are committed in providing customers reasonable charging, with accuracy, transparency, clear breakdowns (incl. of GST), and explanations with the support of the following filled documents:

1. Price List
2. Sales Order
3. Pre-Delivery Worksheet

CUSTOMER DATA CONFIDENTIALITY

All customers’ particulars are kept solely for the purposes of internal record keeping and completion of sales transactions. Cars & Stars will never reveal these information to any other party without prior written consent of the customers.

INSURANCE COVERAGE

To protect customers, Cars & Stars have an insurance bond of SGD$50,000.00 from CaseTrust-SVTA covering misdeeds and/or mishaps.
