The latest bidding exercise on 07 August 2019, Wednesday resulted to a rise on premiums across all categories.
For Cat A (up to 1,600cc & 97kW) the premium went up by 22.72% or $6,058, from $26,667 to $32,725. As for Cat B (above 1,600cc or 97kW), there was a $595 increase, from $39,406 to $40,001.
Meanwhile, goods vehicles and buses (Cat C) saw COE prices go up by 13.01%, from $24,599 to $27,800. Notably, for Motorcycle (Cat D) premium, it went up to $4,400 (23.80%) as compared to $3,554 in the previous bidding exercise.
Finally, for the Open Category (Cat E), the premium was slightly up by 1.58% or $623, from $39,889 to $40,512.
