Defect Status & Fixes
Toyota recalled Noah, Voxy and Alphard produced from 2013 to 2018 due to the following defects:
1. In a hybrid vehicle fuel pump, the voltage applied to the pump is high and the motor brush is improperly assembled, so the brush may tilt, causing excessive sparking and abnormal wear. As a result, the fuel pump may malfunction and stall.
Recommended Fix: Replace all vehicles and fuel pumps with countermeasures.
2.The spring lock assembly within the seat reclining mechanism for both the driver and passenger seats are inappropriate.
Recommended Fix: A bushing for preventing the reclining lock spring from coming off is added to the inner seat reclining mechanism of all vehicles, driver’s seat and passenger seat. If it has already been removed, replace the spring with a new one.
